Celebrities Rally to Beat Obesity at the Clinton Global Initiative

0

American celebrities came together at the Clinton Global Initiative last week to push the “Truth on Health” campaign — an effort to help America’s youth get in shape. Among the celebrities were Celtics captain Paul Pierce, whose FitClub34 — a Web site sponsored by Harvard Pilgrim, provides kids with information to get healthy. Other Clinton friends included: Brad Pitt, Usher, Jessica Alba and many others.

The main focus at the conference concentrated on making changes to world hunger on a global level. The new ideas will help teach countries how to grow, sell and buy food rather than providing them with emergency food during times of crisis.
